Tender for Operating Gede Ruins Cafeteria at Gede Museum – Malindi

The National Museums of Kenya invites tenders from competent restaurant operators to operate a Cafeteria located within Gede Ruins Museum, 100 kms North of Mombasa and 18kms from Malindi Town, off Watamu Road.
The Cafeteria is expected to cater for staff and visitors of all calibre. The restaurant has a space area of 60 x 67 sq ft and a circular enclosure with a radius of 66 ft available Parking can accommodate 100 vehicles with water and electricity on site.
Those interested must have operated similar business for a least 3 years.
Detailed tender documents may be obtained from the Principal Procurement Officer’s office, NMK Headquarters,
Museum Hill Road and from the Senior Curator’s Office, Gede Ruins Museum – Gede, during working hours upon payment of non-refundable fee of KES2,000 payable in cash at NMK Headquarters or at Gede Cash Office. Bidders are at liberty to inspect the facility.

Completed tender documents in Plain sealed envelope clearly marked ‘TENDER FOR GEDE CAFETERIA’ is to be addressed to:

and be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Old Reception area at the NMK headquarters so as to reach him before 23rd June, 2010 at 12.00 p.m. Tenderers or their representatives are free to attend the opening.
