Objectives
The level of responsibility associated with the position requires the Senior Staff Training and Budget Assistant to work efficiently, independently, and across teams.
The incumbent must be highly adaptable, innovative, and efficient, and should demonstrate strong budget management, curriculum development, training animation,   communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and responsibilities
  • Assist in  content development and delivery of all learning and  all training programmes
  • Compile  the Division’s Training Plan and Calendar
  • Maintain a data base of all training  activities, consultants, and liaise with consultants as the needs arise

  • Compile all training materials and supervise or assist in the set up of the logistics needed to ensure a good training (Room reservation, training equipment, Interpretation facilities, Transportation etc.)
  • Assist in the evaluation of the training activities, the preparation of training reports, and   the compilation of the annual training reports.
  • Ensure all presentations and other training documents are pre-set  and formatted
  • Compile training statistics of  the Bank
  • Assist in the selection of STS (When needed)
  • Assist in the selection of Consultants
  • Assist in administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) and Learning Content Management System
  • Assist in budget preparation, budget planning, monitoring and the coordination of Organizational Learning Plans
  • Assist  in processing of payments, for venues, trainers, consultants, courses etc
  • Monitor the budget execution and submit a report on monthly basis
  • Any other duties reasonably requested by management

Selection Criteria
Including desirable skills, knowledge and experience
  • A minimum of a Bachelors degree in Education or Business Management, Commerce, Administration or related discipline such as Curriculum Development and Course Design, preferably supplemented with certifications in IT workspace, training management and administration.
  • Preferably a minimum of five (5) years of progressively relevant and practical experience, learning modules  design or training delivery in a large Enterprises preferably in an international organization.
  • Knowledge of pedagogical methods of training, course design and administration, virtual learning, with good planning and organizational skills are required.
  • Good knowledge on budget preparation and administration
  • Strong customer service skills, good organizational skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail and ability to work with a diverse workforce, excellent levels of initiative, enthusiasm, team spirit, organizational and interpersonal skills are a necessary requirement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and / or French, with a good working knowledge of the other language.
  • Excellent use of Bank standard software (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), Knowledge of SAP or other ERP system would be an added advantage; good IT Workspace management skills are highly desirable.
