St. Paul’s University is a Christian ecumenical university based in Limuru, but with a Campus in downtown Nairobi and at least 10 affiliate colleges in Kenya, Uganda and Southern Sudan.

Please note that applicants for lecturer positions must have a Masters Degree in relevant fields, with at least 2 years teaching experience at a University level, after attaining the Masters. PhD holders and those with evidence of relevant research and publications will have a distinct advantage.
Faculty of Business and Communication Studies
1. Lecturer in Finance
The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Business or Economics or Commerce and a Masters degree in Finance or Financial Economics. Those possessing CFA qualification will have a distinct advantage.
2. Lecturer in Accounting
The applicant must have a bachelors’ degree in Business or Economics or Commerce and a Masters degree in Accounting or Finance. In addition the applicant must be CPA (K) or an ACCA finalist.
3. Lecturer in Marketing
The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce and a Master’s degree in Marketing. Those with professional qualifications in marketing will have a distinct advantage.
4. Lecturer in Leadership & Management
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce and an MBA Strategic Management or an M.A Project management or M.A Leadership Studies.
5. Lecturer in Economics
The applicant must have a Bachelors degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Economics. The applicant must be well grounded in economic theory and econometrics.
Department of Communication Studies
1. Lecturer in Composition and Writing-Across-The Curriculum
The applicant should have a PhD in English composition, rhetoric, cultural studies or communication. A Ph.D. in literature, with experience in composition teaching and supervising will be an added advantage. Experience in Theatre and Drama coaching highly desired.
2. Lecturer in Communication-I
Applicants should have a Masters Degree in Communication and Professional experience in electronic media. The successful applicant will teach in the area of Communication, Television, and journalism.
3. Lecturer in Communication-II
The applicant must have a PhD in Communication and considerable journalism or publishing experience in either local or international media houses. Those with a combination of graduate degree in publishing and a journalism background will be considered. The successful candidate will teach a wide range of practical courses in the print journalism and publishing curriculum.
4. Lecturer in Interactive New Media
The applicant must have an MFA or its equivalent in Graphic Design, Interactive Media or a related field. Experience in professional settings is highly desirable. The successful applicant will teach introductory and advanced courses in digital graphics and design such as typography, web design, digital photography, and 2-D and 3-D animation.
In addition, applicants must demonstrate proficiency in the relevant software. This position is ideal for a broad-based graphics professional keen on leaving a mark on a cutting-edge interdisciplinary program.
5. Assistant Lecturer in Communication
The successful candidate should have a Masters in Communication and a first degree in English or Linguistics or Rhetorical studies and experienced in teaching academic composition to undergraduates. He or she will be required to teach general communication courses.
Faculty of Theology
1. Lecturer in New Testament Studies
The applicant must have a PhD in New Testament studies and a Masters Degree in Theology.
2. Lecturer in Systematic Theology
The applicant must have a PhD in Systematic Theology or Theological Studies and a Masters Degree in Systematic Theology or Theological Studies.
Lecturers in Development Studies
The applicant must have a PhD in development studies or related disciplines. Applicants with a Masters Degree with at least 5 years teaching experience in a tertiary level institution will be considered. Successful applicants should be able to teach in at least one of these specializations: Child or youth development, Community development, Theology and
development, and Peace and conflict studies.
University Library
Applicants for both Senior Library assistant and Library assistant must have basic computer knowledge as well as be familiar with a library management system. They should have 3 years professional experience working in a University library. Those with KOHA experience will have a distinct advantage
1. Senior Library Assistant
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Sciences (Library Option) OR Higher National Diploma in Library and Information Sciences
2. Library Assistant
The applicant must have a Diploma in Library and Information Studies OR Higher National Diploma in Library and information Sciences.
Senior Accounts Assistant
The applicant must have Bachelor’s Degree in commerce or a finance related discipline. Professional training courses in accounting and relevant experience will be an added advantage. The successful applicant should have demonstrated administrative and interpersonal relations capabilities.
Assistant Administration Officer
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in social sciences. A Master’s Degree will be a distinct advantage. Applicants must be computer literate, effective communicators with good supervisory, organizational and report writing skills. The successful applicant will carry out administrative and coordination tasks at our Nairobi campus.
Senior Administration Assistant
The applicant should have Bachelor’s Degree preferably in social sciences or Higher National Diploma training in administration and with 3 years working experience at a university level.
Reporting to the Senior Administration Officer, the incumbent will ensure university support services such as security, maintenance of grounds and facilities, transport, and other utilities are provided efficiently. Applicants must be computer literate, effective communicators with good supervisory, organizational and report writing skills.
Assistant Registrar Academics
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in education. Training in administration and relevant experience in an academic institution, especially in management of examinations and scheduling will be a distinct advantage.
ICT-Administration Officer
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, or information technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the University’s fast-expanding IT network, and will provide  technical expertise and direction in computer applications, system projects and problems in line with University growth.
The candidate will also plan, organize, manage and control activities of the computing section in areas of academic research laboratory, cyber and University administrative systems which support teaching.
Students’ Affairs Assistant
The applicant must have a basic degree preferably in physical education with at least two years experience in a similar roles or its equivalent in a tertiary education institution.
Successful applicant should demonstrated ability in coaching and sports administration will be an added advantage. A key result area for this position will be that of mentorship of students in the sports and provision of a healthy link between the University administration and students through a properly planned, coordinated and implemented student events’ calendar.
