Save the Children UK is seeking the services of a consultant in Community Outreach and Social Marketing. The purpose of the consultant is to strengthen community-based approaches and structures to prevent and respond to child abuse, exploitation, violence and neglect in Dadaab.
The objective is to develop a participatory and inter-active training package for staff on community sensitisation, mobilisation and outreach; tailor the training content to the Dadaab context, design specific tools and activities that can be implemented to achieve the project goals. The work is expected to take a maximum of 30 days.

Child Protection Standard Operating Procedures Consultant

Save the Children has drafted Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide child protection case work in Dadaab. The consultant will conduct an initial review of the draft SOPs and work closely with Save the Children to finalize the draft. The consultant will then facilitate two workshops on the SOPs with key stakeholders from Dadaab: One to inform the final draft SOPs and one to train on the finalized SOPs. The work is expected to take a maximum of 21 days.

The consultant will be provided with the relevant documents and briefings required to understand the background of the programme and Dadaab context. The work is expected to take a maximum of 2 months.
