Job Specifications:
- Degree in Sales and Marketing. An MBA will be an added advantage.
- Strong experience in business development and experience in India – E.A Trade as added advantage
- Ability to understand sales dynamics in freight and Shipping Industry
- Asian professionals with local exposure are encouraged to apply
- First class sales record, with demonstrable growth background
- Confident and dynamic negotiator and a team builder.
- Must have very strong leadership skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the local and Asia environment, Major exporters/Importers and organizations.
- Analytical, innovative, excellent communicator and decisive
- Ability to handle simultaneous assignments under pressure.
- Flexible in approach to issue and responsible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and execute the business development strategies / activities in respective Tradelanes to and from EA/Asia and related sales activities in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment to deliver maximum profit and optimize business assets and human resources
- Manage Market Demands in achieving Country Revenue and Volume Budgets.
- Achievement of Customer Retention Targets
- Up trade / Down trade customer analysis
- Target Account and Pipeline Conversion proficiency
- Develop and align Trade lane strategies with market trends and business needs
- Country Tradelanes Budget and Business Plan
- Monthly review of Tradelanes Budget and KPI Performance
- Tradelanes Summit and CST Participation
- Creating a win-win partnership with all stakeholders
- Product Campaign and Promotions
- Monthly Performance Analysis & Corrective action plans as required
- Conference Call Participation
- Sharing of Best Practices and Methods
- Decision Making and Actions that enable improvement and change within the organization
