National Oil Corporation of Kenya Tender Notice: Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Development of a Business Continuity Plan

National Oil Corporation of Kenya (National Oil) invites Expressions of Interest (EoI) from eligible consultancy firms to assist in developing a business continuity capacity whose objective is assuring timely resumption of critical business functions in the event of major disruptions or disaster.
Business Continuity Plan (BCP)
National Oil intends to develop a Business Continuity Plan as a tool to improve its resilience by identifying, in advance, potential impacts of a wide variety of sudden disruptions to its ability to continue to operate smoothly in the face of disaster. The expectations of the BCP include but not limited to the following: Corporate Continuity; Corporate Crisis Management; Corporate Systems; Corporate Facilities; Corporate People and Regulatory Requirements.
Objective of the EoI
The objective of this expression of interest is to shortlist eligible firms capable of developing a business continuity
capacity.
Eligible firms should meet the following minimum criteria:

(a) Executive summary
(b) Company overview
(c) Project management approach
(d) Accreditation in Business Continuity Planning by an internationally recognised professional body
(e) Project Team Staffing
(f) Expected Outputs
(g) Project Time Schedule
(h) Experience in the petroleum industry
(i) List of consultancies in development of business continuity plans undertaken in the last 5 years (description of
assignment, status, client names and addresses)

Expressions of Interest submitted later than the closing date and time shall automatically be disqualified whatever
the circumstances. Tender opening shall take place soon thereafter at the Corporation Lounge, AON Minet
House, 5th Floor, Mamlaka Road off Nyerere Road, Nairobi, Kenya in the presence of candidates and/or their
representatives who may wish to attend.
Only short-listed firms will be invited to submit Request for Proposals (RFP) for Consultancy Services for
Development of Business Continuity Plan. Expressions of Interest are not transferable.
National Oil reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Expressions of Interest either in whole or part.
