Kenya Orient Insurance Jobs – Risk Assurance and Systems Compliance Manager

Kenya Orient Insurance Ltd is a fast growing insurance provider with branches in major towns.
To ensure sustainable growth we are seeking a dynamic and talented professional to establish an Internal Audit function.
Reporting to the board, the successful candidate will be responsible for planning, co-ordinating and executing independent audits in the company.
Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing audit work plans
  • Identifying and investigating possible risk areas for reporting to the management.
  • Reviewing and updating audit programs procedures
  • Performing audits including systems development audits and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Reviewing internal control procedures.
  • Liaising with external Auditors on audit issues.
Qualifications/ competencies / experience

The ideal candidate should possess the following;
  • A bachelors degree in commerce or equivalent from a recognized university
  • CPA(K) or equivalent
  • CISA qualification
  • Seven years experience in internal audit or in professional audit firm.
  • Above average Computer literacy
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
