The position
Reporting to the Head, Training and Development, the position will be responsible for conducting TNA, designing and delivering learning solutions for various Business units.
The position also enhances the competencies of employees through the deployment of various multimedia learning resources to deliver business goals.
Key Responsibilities
  • To carry out Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for respective businesses/head office departments prioritizing and application of training solutions
  • To develop curricula for specific business needs including learning content, learning roadmaps, presentation of learning material in alignment with current and future business strategy

  • Manage and deliver the whole training cycle
  • Develop and implement a training calendar
  • Undertake continuous research and development on current and new training methodologies with a view of improving competency level of employees
  • Undertake regular training curriculum reviews with a view of adopting and implementing best practice approaches to training
  • Enhance organizational effectiveness through coaching, consulting and problemsolving activities
  • Maintains records and prepares statistical reports to evaluate performance of instructors and monitor progress of trainees.
  • Analyzes training program effectiveness and submits reports and recommendations to management.
  • Coordinates established training courses with technical courses required by business units.
The Person
For the above positions, the successful applicants should have:
  • University Degree from a recognized institution.
  • Possession of a postgraduate degree or professional qualification in a related field will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 4 years managing a training function
  • Experience of designing and developing training programs.
  • Experience of managing and implementing Training & Development strategy for a large workforce
  • Experience of managing and leading a small team
  • Experience of the whole training cycle including TNA, design, delivery, assessment and evaluation
  • Experience in a financial institution will be an added advantage
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Effective problem analysis and solving skills
  • Should be creative and innovative
