General Manager
Qualifications
  • Diploma in Business Administration
  • Diploma in cooperative Management (Added advantage)
  • Experience in Information and Communication Technology (Computer Literate)
  • At least 5 years proven experience in medium sized organizations (Cooperative societies will be added advantage)
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Accounting Knowledge (At least CPA II and above)
  • Must be able to work under minimum supervision and ability to meet strict deadline and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice to the management committee
  • Keep record of minutes of board of management committee meetings
  • Coordinate, supervise, monitor and evaluate the cooperative society’s business growth
  • Promote and develop customer’s awareness on cooperative Society products.
  • Ensure ethical business procedures are adhered to, at all operating levels of the organization
  • Any other managerial duties assigned by management.
Accountant
Qualifications
  • CPA Part II and above
  • Diploma in Cooperative Management (Added advantage)
  • 3 years working experience
  • Accounting, computer packages and experience in Information Technology
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare books of accounts up to balance sheet level
  • Supervise team of book keepers
  • Reconcile cash receipts and payments
  • Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliation statements
  • Any other accounting duties assigned by management
