General Manager
Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration
- Diploma in cooperative Management (Added advantage)
- Experience in Information and Communication Technology (Computer Literate)
- At least 5 years proven experience in medium sized organizations (Cooperative societies will be added advantage)
- Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Accounting Knowledge (At least CPA II and above)
- Must be able to work under minimum supervision and ability to meet strict deadline and targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide strategic advice to the management committee
- Keep record of minutes of board of management committee meetings
- Coordinate, supervise, monitor and evaluate the cooperative society’s business growth
- Promote and develop customer’s awareness on cooperative Society products.
- Ensure ethical business procedures are adhered to, at all operating levels of the organization
- Any other managerial duties assigned by management.
Accountant
Qualifications
- CPA Part II and above
- Diploma in Cooperative Management (Added advantage)
- 3 years working experience
- Accounting, computer packages and experience in Information Technology
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare books of accounts up to balance sheet level
- Supervise team of book keepers
- Reconcile cash receipts and payments
- Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliation statements
- Any other accounting duties assigned by management
