VECTOR CONTROL OFFICER

Support implementation of Indoor Residual Spray (IRS) activities including field supervision, operations planning, and day-to-day management. Prepare and complete logistics assessment and plans for establishment of warehouse and field sub-stations. Ensure operations compliance with environmental regulations. Assist in selection of seasonal spray operators and organize training. Contribute to development of technical reports. Responsible for completeness, accuracy and quality of region's technical deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Public Health, or an environmental field and a minimum of 6 years of professional experience working in a technical role on a malaria program OR a Masters degree in above fields and 3 years of experience.
• Previous experience designing and implementing training and capacity building activities
• Competence in program management and proven ability to work in effective communication with customers, partners and other public health professionals
• Previous experience with USAID or donor-funded programs highly preferred Demonstrated ability to write technical documents succinctly and clearly in English
