JOB DESCRIPTION
1. REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to:  Revenue Controller
2. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOBTo  support Revenue Controller in controlling Telkom Kenya’s Revenues including all aspects of forecasting (annual budget, long-term business plan, monthly rolling budget), actual reporting and analysis as well as working with Sales and Marketing team to develop action plans to meet the company objectives
3. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES and TASKS
• Reporting of monthly revenues – preparation of the 20 day actual and 10 day forecasts
• Variance analysis to budget and prior months in liaison with the Business Revenue Manager
• Update of the rolling budget (PMO) on a monthly basis
• Preparation of the Board Pack once every 2 months
• Preparation of the Budget and Budget Update on a bi-annual basis as well as update of the Q3 reforecast
• Ownership of the Revenue Model for monthly reporting, budgeting and strategic planning purposes
• Provide input into the PMO/Rubani Revenue work stream
• Ensure revenue reporting according to IFRS standards and FT Definitions
• Regular analysis of revenue performance for each revenue stream and communicate to sales/marketing functions

• Challenge sales/marketing functions on revenue performance and jointly develop action plans
• Guide product managers on developing business cases and review business cases
• Ensure monthly reconciliations between billing data and GL
• Maintain up to date files for audit purposes
• Implement internal/external audit recommendations
• Assist in tariff setting and tariff reviews
• Assist Revenue Assurance Manager in identifying revenue leakage, implementing revenue assurance action plans and putting in place relevant systems/controls
• Implement Business & Wholesale Market reporting and Enterprise Line of Business Reporting for FT\

  A. Education: 
• Qualifications in Business/Commerce/Accounting. Part qualifications considered

  
B. Experience:    
• Minimum 2 years experience working in a commercial finance environment
