We are pleased to announce the following vacancy within Security Department in Supply Chain and Administration Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:
Regional Security Officer
 Ref: SC&A- RSO– MAY10
Reporting to the Senior Manager – Security, the Regional Security Officer will supervise and coordinate provision of security and safety related requirements for staff as well as the company facilities in designated regions under the close guidance of the Senior Manager – Security.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervision of all security related functions in the assigned region;
  • Coordination of services rendered by regional security service providers;
  • Ensuring timely maintenance and repairs of security equipment and installations;
  • Investigating all company/ staff related security cases in liaison with the Senior Security Officer;
  • Assisting the Senior Manager – Security with coordination of security requirements for company functions/events;
  • Assisting the Health and Safety Manager with coordination of regional emergency evacuation exercises.
Minimum Requirements:


  • A Bachelors degree coupled with certification in a security related field;
  • Minimum 6 years management experience at middle management level in commercial security industry or attainment of the rank of “Chief Inspector” in the Police Force or “Captain” in the Military;
  • Mandatory knowledge of the penal code;
  • Knowledge of the penal code is essential;
  • Knowledge and experience in the development of security policies and procedures will be an added advantage;
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite;
  • Quick learner with good problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure;
  • A team player, with good networking skills.
