Advertisement for Two Board Members to Represent Women and Consumers in the Kiwasco Board of Directors
Kisumu Water and Sewerage Company Limited (KIWASCO) is a Water Services Provider established in line with the Water Act 2002 to manage, operate and maintain water & sewerage services within the jurisdiction Kisumu Municipality and its environs.
The company invites qualified applicants to serve in the Board to represent women and consumer segments who must be endorsed by the respective stakeholders segment they wish to represent.
Applicants must have the following qualifications and

Applicants must have the following qualifications and
- Be educated to at least ‘O’ level. Higher levels of education will be an added advantage.
- Experience in formulating policies, strategies and business plans at senior management level in public, large private sector or NGO.
- Demonstrate experience in business or any profession for at least 7 years.
- Demonstrate participation and involvement in local development.
- Demonstrate experience in change management.
- Knowledge of Water Sector Reforms will be an added advantage.
- Be a resident of Kisumu and a consumer of KIWASCO water.
- Be above 21 years of age and below 70 years.
All applications must be accompanied by a detailed updated CV signed by the applicant, copies of academic certificates signed by the applicant and an endorsement by the stakeholders in the segment.
The Selection Committee shall vet all applications and propose to the Annual General Meeting suitable candidate for election as Directors.
