Jiweze kenya group – Micro Finance jobs

A local micro-finance company based on Nairobi has its plans to expand its operations to different parts of the country. As a result, it has the following vacancies in one new branch in Nairobi:
1. REF: A/R/12/2010: ASSISTANT CLERK Applicants should posses KCSE grade D+ or its equivalent with pass in English and Mathematics. They should also be devoted to work, hardworking and able to communicate in both English and kiswahili. Prior experience will be added advantage.
2. REF: A/R/14/2010: OFFICE SUBORDINATE
Applicants should be hardworking and ready to work even on some weekends. They should be able to write and speak English and Kiswahili, Aged between 18-26 years. Form four leavers are encouraged to apply. Duties include among others, cleaning offices.

3. REF: A/R/13/2010:
ACCOUNTING CLERKS
Applicants should have ATC final and above and have adequate knowledge in accounting.
Tasks include:


i). Keeping financial records at the office. This includes maintaining cash book, bank book, obtaining bank statements and reconciling with the bank books.
ii). Updating all financial transactions daily by entering them in the relevant books.
iii). Preparation of payment vouchers which include payment requisition forms, float requisition forms, daily labor sheets, per diems forms etc.
iv). Maintenance and management of office premises. This includes ensuring that office is clean and orderly at all times.
iv). Secretarial tasks (mail management, filling and paperwork, IT management, telephone etc).
