Primary Purpose of the Role
The IT Manager will be responsible for the effective performance of current systems and any development initiatives required for further improving the architecture, functionality, reporting and operational performance of the systems for the businesses but also to support the international expansion.

Key Accountabilities
- Oversee and be the champion for the current IT systems in place.
- Identify business issues, risks and efficiencies, coupled with making and implementing improvements to the company IT policy and procedures to enable a full understanding of the business which will ensure timely and appropriate decisions are made.
- Evaluate user needs and system functionality;
- Recommend improvements for the architecture, functionality, integration, reporting and operational performance of the systems.
- Ensure that IT facilities meet the needs of individuals and projects;
- Plan, develop and implement the IT budget, obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, where appropriate, to ensure cost effectiveness;
- Schedule upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
- Ensure the smooth running of all IT systems, including anti-virus software, print services and email provision;
- Ensure that software licensing laws are adhered to;
- Provide secure access to the network for remote users;
- Ensure the security of data from internal and external attack;
- Provide users with appropriate support and advice;
- Manage crisis situations, which may involve complex technical hardware or software problems;
- Mentor and train new IT support staff;
- Keep up to date with the latest technologies.
Control Management
- Responsible for updating all relevant systems in line with product development and upgrades.
General
- The role may be required to complete other duties as needed by the management
