Finance and Administration Manager NGO Jobs in Kenya

Our client, an NGO supporting the development of research and technology base throughout Africa, is looking for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Finance and Administration Manager (F&AM).

The F&AM reports to the Executive Director and works closely with the Program Officers.

The F&AM is responsible for the overall financial management of the institution; maintenance of the books of accounts; preparation of budget forecasts, cash flows and monthly performance reports; facilitating financial audits; ensuring compliance with all statutory and tax obligations; and supervising staff in the finance department.
Education and Experience

  • Finance, Commerce or Business Administration degree from a recognized university;
  • Be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) or qualified ACCA;
  • At least 5 years relevant experience(experience in the NGO sector will be an added advantage);
Desired attributes

The ideal candidate should have:
  • Proficiency in financial management and reporting in the context of program management;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to enable effective reporting;
  • Strong team-player abilities to effectively work with multiple stakeholders; and
  • Strong computer skills.
