Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) For Consultancy Services for Communication Strategy
Contract No. CWSB/WaSSIP/CSITA-412010
1. This request for expressions of interest follows the General Procurement Notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 715 of 30th November, 2007.
2. The Government of Kenya has received a credit from the International Development Association (IDA) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for Consultancy Services for Communication Strategy, No. CWSBIWaSSIPICS!TA-41201 0

The services required include but not limited to:
  • Strengthening the capacity of WSPs in Communication and Customer Care
  • Information Dissemination and Flow between Partner Institutions and Donors
  • Enhancing Stakeholder Relationships
  • Enhancing Media Relationships
  • Producing and Disseminating Communication Materials
  • Design Monitoring and Evaluation Plan for Communication activities

The services are expected to cover a period of two years.
3. The Coast Water Services Board, a state corporation under the Ministry of Water and Irrigation (MW&l), now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services.
Interested consultants must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, and availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc)
4. A consultant firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, May 2004 (Revised in October 1, 2006).
5. Interested consultants may obtain further information at the address below from 0800 to 1630 hours from Monday to Friday excluding lunch hour (1230 to 1400 hours) and public holidays.
6. Packages containing expression of interest should be clearly marked with the following statements “Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for Communication Strategy” must be delivered to the address below not later than
14th May, 2010 at 1200 hours local time.
