A rapidly expanding Bank with extensive Branch network in Kenya is looking for qualified professionals to fill the following vacancies.
Corporate Relationship Managers

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Banking, the Corporate Relationship Manager
 will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identifying opportunities for selling and cross-selling the Bank’s products.
  • Developing business relationships between the Bank and clients.
  • Establishing customer potential and credit worthiness and preparing credit proposals in line with the Bank’s credit policy and within acceptable turn-around time.
  • Maintaining existing client relationships, attending to clients’ needs and managing their expectations.
  • Identifying opportunities for new product development and presenting proposals to the Manager, Corporate for consideration.
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Business Degree in Banking /Finance or any other relevant field.
  • Higher Diploma in Business Administration/Management/Public Rlations/Marketing or other relevant area.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ working experience in business/corporate relationship management.
  • Sound Credit management experience.
  • Analytical and negotiating skills.
Branch Managers

Reporting to the Head of Retail Banking, the Branch Manager will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforcing Bank’s policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Market the Bank’s products and ensuring growth in the Asset and Liability book.
  • Conduct marketing campaigns and client visits; ensuring excellent customer service at branch
  • Carry out and oversee general administrative, operational and HR duties in the branch
  • Ensuring adherence to policy and regulatory requirements
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the Branch staff including their development and welfare etc.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or any other business related field from a recognised Institution.
  • Diploma in Banking (AKIB qualification).
  • Minimum of 4 years’ working experience in business/corporate relationship management and Branch Management respectively.
  • A go-getter with developed business acumen.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and networking skills
  • Strong supervisory skills
  • Excellent inter-personal and relationship skills.
Operations Officers

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Branch Operations Officers will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinating, distributing and monitoring accountable documents, cash and services at branch level.
  • Monitoring business transactions at branch outlet
  • Support in the administration of branch including staff management, security and custody services
  • Generate management reports required at branch level
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Commerce degree
  • Diploma in Banking (AKIB qualification)
  • CPA II/ ACCA II
  • At least three years working experience in a Bank, of which two years in back office
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
Credit and Microcredit Officers

Reporting to the Credit & Micro Credit Manager, the Credit & Micro Credit Officers will be responsible for the following:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive credit applications and checking for completeness; liasing with the source department or manager to obtain missing documents
  • Vet loan applications against the Bank’s set criteria
  • Carry out first level analysis in accordance with the set criteria and where these are within approval limit, prepare /finalise the credit proposal document and recommend to the supervisor for sanctioning.
  • Review the periodic credit report, highlight areas of concern and prepare summary for discussion with the supervisor
  • Assist in the preparation of both internal and external credit reports.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Degree in Business
  • Diploma in Banking/Credit/Micro-Finance
  • CPA II/ACCA II
  • 4 years’ working experience in a Financial institution, of which 2 years in Credit Management.
  • Strong knowledge of the Banking Act
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and presentation skills.
