UMEME has invested US$70 million to improve the low voltage network UMEME will spend over US$30m per annum and invites a Ugandan and other World Class Operations to take a greater share of this expenditure.
What we are looking for
- Companies with an excellent record in safety, quality and value for money.
- Contractors who support local sourcing and encourage the development of local supply chains.
- Organisations who demonstrate a strong financial structure with the ability to develop in partnership as the electricity network expands.
- Preference will be given to Ugandan based companies which demonstrate a commitment to excellence, through management and training, particularly demonstrating capability in engineering, logistics and safety.
