Chemonics International, an international consulting firm, is forming a team of public health and management professionals to propose to USAID for the implementation of the Family Health Project (FHP) in Rwanda.

This will be a five-year program designed to increase the use of facility and community-based family health services, including an integrated package of family planning/reproductive health; HIV/AIDS; maternal, neonatal and child health; malaria prevention and treatment; nutrition; and safe water and hygiene.

All long positions will be based in Rwanda. Positions are

subject to project award.

Senior and Mid-level Positions
  • Chief of Party (Previous USAID experience and 15+ years senior management and technical experience required)
  • Deputy Chief of Party/Senior Technical Director (10+ years senior management and relevant technical experience required)
  • Team Leader: Improved Quality of Facility and Community-based Services (10+ years relevant experience)
  • Team Leader: Increased Access for Family Health Services (10+ years relevant experience)
  • Team Leader: Strengthened Management of Facility and Community-based FH Services (10+ years relevant experience)
Long and Short Term Specialists in the following areas
  • Gender Integration
  • Integrated Management of Neonatal and Childhood Illnesses (IMNCI)
  • Maternal and Child Health (MCH)
  • Family Planning/Population
  • Reproductive Health

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Advance degree in field relevant to the position to which applying
  • 10+ year years experience for senior level positions
  • 5 to 9 years experience for mid- level positions
  • Prior USAID project experience a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • English language proficiency required
  • Previous project experience in Rwanda a plus
