Job description
Member of evaluation team for the Evaluation of the Northern Corridor Rehabilitation Programme in Kenya. This programme is funded by the European Union.
Team will consist of Transport engineer (Team leader), Transport economist and Roads materials technician.
Duration is 9 weeks (45 working days).
Qualifications / Other requirements
- Higher diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Specific professional experience: At least 10 years post-qualification experience in traffic counting, road monitoring investigations and laboratory testing.
- Familiarity with asphaltic mix testing procedures, including Marshalls tests as well as bump integrator and falling Weight Deflectometer measurements is mandatory.
- At least 3 years experience in Sub-Sahara Africa.
- Experience with road projects in East Africa will be an advantage.
