Request For Proposals - Consultancy Services for the Development of a National Industrial Training Policy

The National Industrial Training Council is established under the


Industrial Training Act Cap. 237 of the Laws of Kenya and is responsible for promotion, regulation and coordination of industrial training in Kenya among other functions.

The Council intends to develop a National Industrial Training Policy which will provide a road map towards the realization of the goals of Vision 2030 in respect of industrial training and has decided to engage a suitably qualified Consultancy firm to develop the Policy.

Interested consultancy firms with relevant qualifications and experience in public policy development are hereby invited to submit proposals on the development of the Policy.

The “Request For Proposals” document is available for inspection and purchase at the Procurement Office, Directorate of Industrial Training, Block B, 1st floor Room No.6, during official working hours upon payment of a non-refundable fee of three thousand shillings (Kshs.3,000.00) in cash at the Revenue office situated at the ground floor, Block A.

Interested bidders MUST either submit both Technical and Financial Proposals, duly sealed and clearly marked as per the instructions in the tender document and bearing the Tender Reference Number and description addressed to:

or deposit the Proposals in the Tender Box located on 1st Floor of Block “B” in the Directorate of Industrial Training, on or before 7th April 2010 at 12.00 Noon (local time).

Late Proposals shall not be accepted.

The Proposals will be opened immediately thereafter in public and in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend.

The Government reserves the right to accept or reject any tender without being bound to give reasons for doing so.
