The National Council of Churches of Kenya, an umbrella organization for protestant churches and Christian Organisations registered in Kenya, invites applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the following positions:
1. Camp Planning Officer, Kakuma Refugee Camp
Ref:
 CPO – KRC

Reporting to the Camp Coordinator and working in close collaboration with the United Nations High Commission for Refugees, this position will be responsible for coordinating camp layout so as to reflect residential areas, communal facilities, social amenities, road reserves and


public utility land.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Construction or Physical Planning and Development)
  • Proficiency in use of modern physical planning equipment and software
  • Minimum of five years experience managing development or relief programmes
2. Field Officer – Great Lakes Initiative on HIV and AIDS, Kakuma Refugee Camp
Ref:
 FOGL – KRC

Reporting to the Camp Coordinator, this position will be responsible for identifying the needs and gaps of the high risk vulnerable groups at Kakuma Refugee Camp in the areas of HIV and AIDS and Reproductive Health.

The incumbent will also conduct peer leadership training and follow up.
Qualifications
  • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse with HIV and AIDS or PMTCT or VCT Counselling
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in refugee operations
3. Field Officer – Reproductive Health, Dadaab Refugee Camp

Reporting to the Camp Coordinator, this position is responsible for the implementation of Reproductive Health activities for various community groups in the Camp.
Qualifications
  • Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse
  • Minimum of two years experience working with refugees in camps
4. Assistant Accountant, Dadaab Refugee Camp 
Ref:
 AA-DRC

Reporting to the Camp Accountant, this position will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records and ensuring compliance with internal controls.
Qualifications
  • Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent
  • CPA II
  • At least one year’s experience in a similar position
