The applicants should be currently involved in management and administration of higher educational institutions and have a minimum of not less than eight (8) years of working experience, six of which must be in senior administrative position in the following areas: Students Evaluation, Tests, Examinations and Admissions.

However, holders of first degree with relevant postgraduate diploma and proven administrative experience of not less than ten (10) years in large institutions, preferably in a university may also be considered.

Under the direction of the Chief Academic Officer, the successful applicants will be expected to manage, direct and supervise staff working in the sections they are expected to head.

In addition, the appointees will be expected to render secretarial services to a variety of Senate and other committees of the University. Candidates for the position must be computer literate with certificates.

They must be currently registered by Engineers Registration Board of Kenya as Civil/Structural Engineer. Must have served in Senior Administrative position in a large public sector/organization, preferably government, for the last 6 years, three (3) of which must have been at Superintending Engineer level.

They must have wide experience in the field of structural/civil engineering in aspects of planning, designing, construction and maintenance of structural and civil works, ensuring sufficiency specifications, quality control and contract administration.
