Internal Auditor

The successful candidate will report to the Managing Director.


Job Summary:
 Ensure effective internal control systems are


in place.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the Organization’s internal audit function
  • Carry out periodical and continuous internal audit exercises on all functions and assets of the Organization
  • Carry out stock audits in parallel with the Stock Control Section and analyze variance
  • Ensure that operations are conducted in compliance with laid down policy, procedure, work instructions and statutory regulations
  • Continuously evaluate internal control systems in line with changing demands and ensure that the systems are appropriately designed to serve the best interest of the Organization at all times
  • Continuously review operating policies, procedures and work instructions and make recommendations on necessary improvements
  • Must be conversant with computerized operating system and be able to conduct systems audit to verify the effectiveness of the system and identify weaknesses for improvement
  • Evaluate audit findings, draw comparisons and analytical reviews and advise on continuous improvement measures
  • Coordinate annual functions of stock take exercise and external audit
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: University degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA (K) or Equivalent
  • Experience: 5 years in Auditing, Accounting or Finance
  • Computer: Must be computer literate with experience in an ERP system and MS packages
Training Manager

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Customer Service

Job Summary:
 Manage Training (Division) function

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, plan and implement appropriate training interventions to meet client needs and expectations
  • Carry out regular monitoring, review and evaluation of the training programme to improve efficiency and effectiveness for sustainability
  • Conduct market survey for benchmarking and improving customer service
  • Coordinate the functions of the section to ensure synergy with other sections
  • Initiate client support services and programmes to ensure they meet customer satisfaction
  • Prepare management and or donor reports to facilitate decision making /meet donor requirements
  • Plan and control the sectional budget to optimize the utilization of resources and accountability
  • Ensure efficient performance management to meet operational objectives and targets
  • Identify/write proposals and conduct consultancy training to ensure sustainability of the training programme
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: Degree (Business related, Pharmacy or Medical Officer)
  • Professional Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy, Clinical Medicine or Business related, Certificate in Training of Trainers, Certificate in Drug management, A valid driving license
  • Experience: 5 years project management (with 3 years as Training Manager)
  • Computer: Must be computer literate with experience in an ERP system and MS packages
  • Skills: Proposal writing, marketing, communication and interpersonal relationship
Senior Accountant

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Finance.

Job Summary:
 To ensure accurate, complete and reliable accounting records and financial information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timeliness and correctness of the general and subsidiary ledgers as the basis for preparation of accurate financial and management reports
  • Authorizing Officer for financial transactions and to control and account for financial resources
  • Coordinate the annual budget process and ensure cost control measures in the implementation of the budget
  • Coordinate annual stock take exercise and analyze stock variance to ensure accuracy of stock records
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports for management consideration and decisionmaking
  • Prepare monthly payroll and remit deductions in compliance with the statute
  • Coordinate annual audit to exercise and ensure timely completion for publication of annual report
  • Prepare and submit annual statutory returns in compliance with the regulatory requirements
  • Coordinate functions of Accounts Section including staff supervision and ensure efficient performance management to achieve operational objectives and targets of the Section and the entire Organization
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: University Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional Qualifications: CPA (K) or Equivalent
  • Experience: 3 years as an Accountant
  • Computer: Must be computer literate with experience in an ERP system and MS packages
Warehouse Operations Officer

The successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager.

Job Summary:
 Coordinate warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure general security and safety of staff in the warehouses
  • Address issues relating to clients orders to facilitate sales
  • Ensure availability of packaging material and working tools for operational efficiency
  • Ensure efficient Performance management to achieve operational objectives and targets
  • Organize and arrange for maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment
  • Manage staff clinic, First Aid Boxes and staff orders to ensure availability of emergency medical services to staff for motivation
  • Ensure good warehousing Practices are upheld
  • Prepare daily and periodic reports for decision making
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: Degree in Business related field or Diploma in Pharmacy
  • Professional Qualifications: Diploma in Pharmacy or Business related field
  • Experience: 3 Years in a large pharmaceutical store
  • Computer: Must be computer literate with experience in an ERP system and MS packages
  • Skills: Communication and Interpersonal relationship
Warehouse Assistant – Order Processing

The successful candidate will report to the Stores Supervisor – Order processing.

Job Summary:
 Clients’ Orders processing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Pick items as per clients’ orders to facilitate order processing
  • Keep custody of items allocated for accountability
  • Receive and arrange items on the locations for accessibility
  • Pack items as per clients’ orders to facilitate dispatch
  • Receive, screen, input and process express clients’ order
  • Maintain cleanliness of working area for hygiene and corporate image
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: “O” level
  • Professional Qualifications: Certificate in Stores Management or Pharmacy
  • Experience: 1 year in a pharmaceutical store
  • Computer: Must be computer literate
Assistant Accountant (Cash Books)

The successful candidate will report to the Accountant.

Job Summary:
 Maintain cashbooks and all bank accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain all bank accounts to ensure sufficient cash flow, accurate records and good relationship with banks
  • Prepare weekly cash flow summary and cash investment report
  • Daily analysis of entries on the bank statement and make necessary cash book entries
  • Ensure timely, complete and accurate cash book entries (receipts, payments and journals)
  • Carryout monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts by the 10th day of the following month
  • Responsible for all bank correspondences
  • Manage float (imprest) account and ensure that all advances are properly and timely accounted for
  • Official bank agent to transact bank business on behalf of the Organization
  • Monthly staff debtors accounts, carryout monthly reconciliation and advise on payroll recoveries (Staff lunch, medical, car loans and staff loans)
Job Requirements:
  • Level of Education: University Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Professional Qualifications: Minimum of CPA II
  • Experience: 3 years in Accounting, Auditing or Finance
  • Computer: Must be computer literate with experience in an ERP system and MS packages
