Corporate Services Manager

Position Purpose

The position will focus on

protection, prevention and promotion of the business through Corporate Security, Safety and Facilities management.

In addition, it will oversee corporate procurement of goods and services, projects, company assets, mail services, PR and advertising and other administrative office support functions.

Key Result Areas:
  • Handle all General Administrative functions for the company
  • Management and maintenance of all company assets and facilities including other technical services
  • Promote the business through management of vendors and focused administration.
  • To ensure that corporate security policies are created, monitored, adapted and adhered to with regards to the business requirements.
  • Manage the development and implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security
  • Oversee the security vendors who safeguard the company assets, intellectual property and computer systems as well as the physical safety of the employees
  • Responsible for Business continuity planning
  • Management of safety and health while ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Act 2007
  • Review, centralize and implement efficient procurement processes and procedures thus ensuring timely delivery of goods and services at a competitive rate.
  • Oversee projects implementation, servicing and maintenance
  • Handle outsource contracts & SLA’s or third party vendors
  • Assist with the Coordination of Company PR activities and advertisement plans
The right candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar capacity. He/she will be conversant with facilities management, office administration, security services, procurement, occupational health & safety and management of third party vendor services in a corporate set up. A relevant university degree is a pre-requisite for this position.

Travel Manager

Position Purpose

The position will focus on management of the travel insurance business through the development and implementation of a business strategy to achieve the set business objectives.

Travel is one of our fastest growing lines of business in the company, and the jobholder will have high level and frequency of business contacts, dealing with airlines, travel institutions, brokers, and agents.

Key Result Areas
  • Market and develop the unique company travel brand in the Kenyan market
  • Manage the travel business production and expenses in line with the strategic plans to achieve profitable growth
  • Manage new accounts in close association with the legal team, and follow up renewal negotiations of existing accounts
  • Develop strong internal and external working relationships to ensure that Service Level Agreements are adhered to and that any changes in product offerings are in tandem with client requirements
  • Proactively manage implementation of new schemes to ensure that the products and systems integrate to meet the needs of all the parties
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with new and existing business partners
  • Develop annual strategic plans for travel insurance
The right candidate must have excellent knowledge and skills in sales and marketing of Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Preference will however be given to candidates with sales and marketing knowledge in general or life insurance. Experience in Sales Analysis and Administration will be a definite advantage. A relevant business degree is mandatory.

Credit Controller

Position Purpose:

The position is responsible for credit policy monitoring, reviews and enforcement, effective and efficient collection of funds due from brokers, agents, individuals and insured corporates.

Key Result Areas:
  • Pro-actively manage the collections, clearing and resolution of queries relating to policies raised by the underwriting department.
  • Set service level agreements (SLA) with internal and external business to ensure effective and efficient running of the credit control function.
  • Maintain effective reporting and communication and act as the principal contact between management, Credit Control and brokers/insured (Internal & external) to resolve credit control issues
  • Serve as the technical expert and resource for current and future credit management practices in the company.
  • Responsible for reconciliations and reporting
The right candidate must have a relevant business degree from a recognized university in addition to being a qualified accountant (CPAK) with at least 5 years relevant experience in a similar role, in a corporate environment. They must also be proficient in MS Office Suite.
