Our client, a Company based in Somalia wishes to recruit a hydrologistto be based in Somalia.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Apply scientific knowledge and mathematical principles in solving water related problems in the region
- Concerned with finding water supplies for region
- Work in environmental protection
- Collect basic data, oversee testing of water quality, direct field crews and work with equipment
- Use detailed data sources, computer modeling packages and other resources to collect, analyze and interpret data
- Studying the effects on flows brought about by changes in land use
- Planning responses to specific weather conditions, such as droughts and floods, and assessing the impacts of such events on water catchments and supplies;
Qualifications:-
- Qualification in Environmental Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years experience in similar capacity
- Excellent interpersonal & Communication skills
- Ability to use relevant computer applications for the same
- Person will be required to travel considerably
- Good analytical and reporting skills
