Account Manager

Reporting to the head of commercial, the Account Manager will be accountable to achieve maximum sales volume based on projections for Direct sales accounts.

The account manager will also be requited to ensure growth, profitability and retention of Direct sales accounts

The successful candidates will be required to among other things
  • Identify and prospect for potential accounts and



    identify target customer groups
  • Develop and implement product/solution plans with customers
  • Maintaining customer satisfaction while exploring new revenue opportunities
  • Work with Marketing to implement marketing plans, programs and promotions in order to facilitate sales
  • Develop and manage implementation of effective promotional activities in order to stimulate sales.
Qualifications required
  • Degree in business administration/Bachelor of commerce or related field.
  • 5 years experience working in sales, 2 at least in an ISP and/or Managed Services.
  • Senior sales position in direct sales or retail sales.
  • Experience with fixed data services
  • Experience in technical sales in the areas of Connectivity, Managed Services, Data Security, Communication Services is a pre-requisite

Solutions Architect - ICT Managed Services

As a member of our technical team, the Solutions Architect interacts with clients and other members of the team to conceive and implement a technology solution to a business challenge.

The Solution Architects routinely interact with the commercial services team in development of customer solutions in particular planning and preparing proposals.

They are expected to be experts with all aspects of Managed Services and Customer Solutions Implementation Methodology.

Qualifications required

The individual at this level will be expected to have a minimum of a relevant Bachelor’s degree and possess
  • A strong technical background and willingness to learn. In particular experience in tiered systems architecture.
  • Experience in the Communications Systems.
  • Exposure to a wide range of technologies including enterprise application integration, database design and configuration (mySQL, Oracle) web applications (Java.J2EE, XML, .NET), operating platforms (Linux, Solaris, Windows) security and networking
  • A proven track record of delivering solutions to customers
This individual will need to be able to operate across multiple projects simultaneously and assume responsibility for the appropriate architecture and technical implementation of projects.

Other responsibilities would include conducting technical project reviews.

Professional Certifications in Cisco, Systems Development and Database Systems is a definite plus.

Customer Support Technicians (2)

Reporting to the Managed Services Operation Centre (MSOC) Manager, the customer support technicians will participate in the installation, maintenance, monitoring, and administration of the hardware and software components of (LAN/WAN/Enterprise) system support.

The successful candidates will be responsible for among other things
  • Assessing and preparing facilities for installation of network components, including the assembly of cables and connectors.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing network, hardware, data base and system activity and respond to user reports of trouble or malfunctions.
  • Assist in monitoring and analyzing network activity using established test procedures.
  • Perform Help Desk duties at the MSOC including recording service calls, maintenance activities and equipment inventory.
  • Act as the first level of support for network/software/hardware malfunction or performance degradation.
  • Maintain and undertake minor repairs of telecommunication equipment hardware and/or software.
Qualifications required
  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecoms Option)
  • Two years Post Graduate experience Minimum
  • Professional Post Graduate Certifications e.g. CCNA, CCNP
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office suite, Microsoft solution suite, Cisco Networking, Wireless Architecture, LAN Architecture, Servers, NAS/SAN and VoIP
The candidates will also be required to have leadership and problem solving skills as well as strong organisation and analytical skills.

Customer Support Engineers (2)

Reporting to the Managed Services Operation Centre (MSOC) Manager, the customer support Engineers will oversee the installation, maintenance, monitoring and administration of the hardware and software components of (LAN/WAN/Enterprise) system support.

The successful candidates will be required to among other things
  • Evaluate network traffic patterns and response times.
  • Modify network designs to obtain maximum capabilities of existing equipment based on availability, costs and plans.
  • Perform quality control/assurance procedures on the installation and maintenance of communication equipment.
  • Assess and prepare facilities for installation of communications network equipment, ensuring compatibility with network configuration to obtain optimal equipment performance.
  • Act as the second level of support for network/software/ hardware malfunction or performance degradation.
Qualifications required
  • Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecoms Option)
  • Two years Post Graduate experience Minimum
  • Professional Post Graduate Certifications e.g. CCNA, CCNP
  • Good knowledge of Ms Office suite, Microsoft solution suite, Cisco Networking, Wireless Architecture, LAN Architecture, Servers, NAS/SAN and VoIP
The candidates will also be required to have leadership and problem solving skills as well as strong organisation, analytical, report writing and excellent presentation skills

Systems Administrator

Reporting to head of information and infrastructure, the successful candidate will oversee and ensure the correct functioning of the computer and communications services of the firm, both internally as well as externally for our clients

The successful candidates will be required to among other things
  • Maintain the level of service of the computer and communications resources (servers, networks, PABX etc.) according to our quality standards and in accordance with our client commitments,
  • Be responsible for access control and electronic surveillance systems
  • Identify, develop, implement and manage internal network security
  • Analyze internal network traffic and implement corrective actions
  • Train users on appropriate usage of network devices/resources
  • Administer Internal File Servers, Terminal, DHCP and DNS servers
Qualifications required
  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science
  • Two Year Post Graduate Experience Minimum
  • Professional Post Graduate Certification e.g. Microsoft Certification
Service Order Coordinator

Reporting to the Managed Services Operation Centre (MSOC) Manager, the service order coordinator will receive, route, track and Control all the service requests coming from Sales.

Ensure the service orders have all the correct information, follow-up with other groups until completion.

Verify customer satisfaction. Assist MSOC Manager and HOD in any support activity, such as reports and administrative tasks.

The successful candidates will be required to among other things
  • Track completion of service orders during the day in order to meet SLA
  • Ensure all the groups can complete the orders and if any problem escalate to MSOC manager/HOD
  • Liaise with other departments to assist field engineers when necessary
Qualifications required
  • Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (Telecoms Option), Computer Science or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or any other Business Discipline
  • One years Post Graduate experience maximum
