National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) Senior Management Positions Jobs in Kenya

Our client, the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB) is seeking to fill leadership positions following a recent restructuring of the organization.

NCPB’s mission is “To promote free and fair trade in commodities through research and market development, and ensure that there is timely accessibility of commodities to all” while its vision is “To be the leading agricultural commodity management and trading organization in East and Central Africa”.

To achieve its goals, NCPB aims to recruit dynamic, experienced and results oriented General Managers, Managers and Chief Officers to drive the required culture and organizational change.

I. General Manager Positions

The General Managers will report to the Managing Director and will be responsible for formulating strategies, policies and plans in their respective divisions to enable the organisation achieve its business objectives.

The ideal candidates must have at least eight (8) years relevant experience at senior manager level, four (4) of which must be at manager level.

In addition, they must demonstrate excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and organisation skills. Registration with relevant professional bodies is a prerequisite while possession of a Masters degree in a relevant field will be a strong advantage.

Specific roles, qualifications and skills for each position are outlined below.

1. General Manager, Finance and Procurement

Key responsibilities

  • Advice the Board and management on financial matters such as financial implications of new or existing ventures;
  • Oversee the development and implementation of sound financial management systems;
  • Ensure integrity in financial and management reporting;
  • Ensure pricing and competitor analysis is conducted effectively;
  • Assess business risk and create financial awareness on resource allocation, cost reduction and financial discipline;
  • Provide leadership in the formulation and implementation of sound procurement policies, plans and procedures ensuring they comply with the laws and regulations governing public procurement; and
  • Oversee the procurement function to ensure optimal levels of supplies.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or a Business related field.
  • In addition, the successful applicant must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA K) or possess ACCA.

2. General Manager, Human Resource and Administration

Key responsibilities

  • Plan and direct human resource development, performance management, career management and training processes and programmes;
  • Develop reward management and remuneration policies, processes and procedures to attract, retain and motivate employees;
  • Prepare budgets for the HR and administration functions and oversee their implementation and control;
  • Oversee staff welfare programmes in the organisation;
  • Steer and represent the Board in industrial relations, negotiations and disputes; and
  • Ensure provision of efficient office administration services to the Board such as provision of security, cleaning and transport services.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in social sciences, human resources or a related field.
  • In addition, applicants must possess a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management.

3. General Manager, Warehousing and Operations

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure that appropriate systems and processes are in place for warehouse management and disposal of products, services and commodities;
  • Oversee the warehousing functions including the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of the wide range of goods maintained by the Board;
  • Ensure the development and implementation of appropriate quality control measures to prevent loss and quality deterioration of products in the warehouses;
  • Oversee and ensure the maintenance of the required systems and standards for warehouses administration and inventory control;
  • Ensure workplace health and safety requirements for warehousing are adhered to; and
  • Oversee distribution activities of all the Warehoused products.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in a business related field and a post-graduate diploma in a business related field preferably in warehousing management.

4. General Manager, Trading Commercial Products

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of the visibility in the market;
  • Oversee the setting of sales and marketing forecasts and follow up to ensure they are achieved as well as reporting on performance;
  • Establish and maintain good corporate relations and implement a customer care management program to ensure brand protection;
  • Identify, oversee and assess promotion strategies and marketing research agencies;
  • Ensure brand profitability through correct pricing policies and product costing; and
  • Steer new business development, market research and intelligence.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in marketing or a related field and a post-graduate diploma preferably in marketing.

5.General Manager, Research and Development/Commodity Exchange

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee advanced sourcing services to identify and evaluate new and existing commodities for future trading;
  • Ensure accurate analysis of trading information both internal and external, for effective negotiations and decision-making;
  • Analyze and track commodity trading trends and identify new opportunities for the Board;
  • Oversee and lead contract negotiations with strategic partners for the Board;
  • Act as a liaison between the Board and the commodity exchange as well as effectively communicate relevant commodity exchange information to the appropriate target audience including new and existing contracts;
  • Carry out periodic market intelligence and oversee research and on areas such as potential and current traders to keep abreast of market trading conditions, new technology and make recommendations to improve trading base; and
  • Drive business performance, reviews and development programs.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and a post-graduate diploma in a business related preferably in Business Administration/Management.

6. Board Secretary

Key responsibilities

  • Carry out company secretarial activities for the organisation including organising, preparing agendas and taking minutes of Board meetings and Annual General meetings;
  • Oversee and undertake all legal aspects of the Board’s business including advising the Board on all legal matters and implications of proposed policies;
  • Acts as custodian of the Board’s assets register, the Board’s Seal as well as maintain a register of all the Board’s leases, agreements and legal cases involving the Board;
  • Vet and draw legal instruments such as contracts, leases and agreements between the Board and third parties and maintains custody of all legal documents where the Board has an interest;
  • Monitor changes in the relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and advise the Board on appropriate action; and
  • Liaise with external regulators and advisors such as lawyers and auditors.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Law and a Diploma in Law.
  • In addition, the successful candidate must be a Certified Public Secretary, CPS (K).

ii. Manager Positions

All Manager positions will report to the respective General Manager and will be responsible for implementing departmental strategies, policies and plans.

For all Manager positions, the ideal candidate must have at least six (6) years relevant experience, three (3) of which must be in a senior management role of either Chief Officer or Assistant Manager.

In addition, the applicants must be members of relevant professional bodies.

Demonstrated leadership, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are essential and possession of a Masters degree in the relevant field shall be an added advantage.

Specific roles, qualifications and skills for each position are outlined below.

1. Information Communications & Technology Manager

  • Manage all information technology needs for the organization;
  • Formulate ICT policies and strategies for the Board;
  • Plan and implement the ICT budget;
  • Coordinate the design, development and implementation of information management system;
  • Coordinate installation and upgrading of hardware and software and maintain the LAN, WAN and website; and
  • Design and implement the disaster recovery procedures to minimize on loss of data.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, an ICT professional qualification or equivalent.

2. Procurement Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure strict compliance with Laws and regulations governing public procurement including disposal of assets;
  • Develop sound partnerships with suppliers, contractors and relevant Government agencies;
  • Develop effective and efficient procurement procedures and ensure stocks are maintained at optimum levels;
  • Oversee the delivery of goods and services to ensure given specifications are adhered to; and
  • Evaluate suppliers performance periodically.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have Bachelors degree in a business related field and have a professional post graduate qualification in Supply Management or its equivalent e.g. KISM / CIPS.

3. Internal Audit Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Review internal control systems and ensuring adequacy of checks and balances to ensure compliance with set standards and specifications;
  • Collate and analyze financial data and report on efficiency and effectiveness of funds utilization;
  • Prepare and submit periodic audit reports to the CEO/Board;
  • Monitor and evaluate the status and implementation of audit recommendations; and
  • Undertake risk assessment and evaluation to ensure compliance with set standards and specifications.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have Bachelors degree in a business related field and have a Certified Public Accounting qualification CPA (K) / ACCA and a professional qualification in audit e.g. CISA or equivalent.
  • The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge of ICT Accounting software applications.

4. Corporate Affairs Manager

  • Develop and implement strategic corporate communications and provide information to support the Board;
  • Devise and implement communications campaigns to the public on the role and functions of the Board;
  • Providing proactive public relations and liaising with the media liaison to enhance the Board’s corporate;
  • Oversee internal and external corporate events, public relations activities and manage stakeholder relationships; and
  • Identify and coordinate Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and other community based programmes.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in Communications or related a related field with a Post graduate Diploma in Communication or a related field.

5. Human Resource Manager

  • Develop, implement and review the Board’s HR policies and strategies;
  • Participate in the formulation, implementation and control of the Board’s staff budget;
  • Oversee the training and development of staff;
  • Ensure effective recruitment and selection of top talent;
  • Oversee employee relations, staff motivation and employee communication;
  • Provide guidance on the Board’s performance management system; and
  • Manage the Board’s succession plan and ensure continued availability of skilled manpower.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or related field and a post graduate Diploma in Human Resource management.

6. Sales and Marketing Manager

  • Plan and implement marketing strategies and manage Marketing resources;
  • Formulate and implement new business development strategies;
  • Prepare relevant budgets and reports for the department; and
  • Promote the company’s products and services through suitable sales and marketing activities and intellectual property management.

7. Operations and Quality Management Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement operations and manage the quality of commodities at the depots and silos;
  • Manage procurement and storage of pest control chemicals;
  • Oversee the fumigation function for third party;
  • Coordinate movement of commodities and transfer of same between stations;
  • Coordinate receiving and safe transportation of imported commodities to various destinations;
  • Liaise with external inspectors to ensure that the storage standards are maintained;
  • Carry out periodical audits on maintenance of commodities the warehouses;
  • Liaise with the Chief Officer Logistics on advising the General Manager Warehousing on transportation and transfer of commodities within the prescribed methods and control systems; and
  • Forecast commodity purchases and provide the basis on which the working capital requirements for crop purchase is determined.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Post-Harvest Grain Management, Agriculture, Entomology, Applied Science or related field and a post-graduate diploma in Food Crop Storage/Food Science or equivalent.

8. Research & Development/Commodity Exchange Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Collect, collate and analyse data and information regarding availability and supply of grains and other pulses in the domestic, regional and international markets, and continuously advising the management on the situation;
  • Research on consumer market behaviour and preferences, and advise on product differentiation, branding and packaging;
  • Identify and coordinate the execution of marketing research projects in support of company initiatives;
  • Assist in the development of innovative improvements to existing products as well as the creation of new products;
  • Participate in the establishment of new brands, communications and marketing strategy launches for new products and re-launches of existing products;
  • Develop pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing the company’s profits and market share;
  • Perform advanced sourcing services, exercising independent judgment in identifying and evaluating new and existing commodities for future trading;
  • Conduct accurate analysis of trading information, both internal and external, for effective negotiations and decision-making;
  • Analyze and track commodity trading trends, identifying new opportunities for the Board; and
  • Develop and maintain a working knowledge of purchasing commodity strategies.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Sales and Marketing or related field and a CIM Diploma or equivalent qualification.

9. Finance Manager

  • Formulate and implement sound financial management strategies policies and systems;
  • Prepare timely financial and management accounting reports, cash flow statements, bank reconciliations and ensure the integrity of all financial reports;
  • Drive the budgetary and financial planning process and control expenditure;
  • Continuously improve the Board’s internal financial controls; and
  • Coordinate financial record keeping and reporting, payroll and preaudit activities.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in Finance or related field as well as a professional qualification in Accounting such as CPA, ACCA.

10. Strategy & Policy Development Manager

  • Monitor and advise on the implementation of the Board’s Strategic Plan;
  • Develop concrete growth strategies on behalf of business units;
  • Identify, track and communicate key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect business segments;
  • Review of Board’s strategies in accordance with current market trends and guide business units in assessing business cost structures; and
  • Coordinate implementation of the strategic plan, and various certifications for the Board.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants should have a Bachelors degree in a Business related field.
  • An MBA in Strategic Management will be a strong added advantage.

11. Technical Manager

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the activities of the technical department including reviewing and updating policies, systems and procedures and installations and manage maintenance of relevant equipments and buildings;
  • Formulate and review specifications and policies for purchase of equipment and spare parts;
  • Prepare functional recurrent and development budgets and manage expenditure; and
  • Ensure proper maintenance of records of all facilities and equipment.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a relevant Bachelors degree in Engineering and be registered by the Engineers Registration Board.

12. Administration Manager

  • Ensure proper office equipment, facilitates office space allocation and utilization;
  • Oversee inventory-taking of office supplies;
  • Control communication and document handling facilities;
  • Supervise the movement of files and documents;
  • Manage the department’s budget and expenditure; and
  • Oversee general administrative matters including transport and security.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree in Business, Land Economics or its equivalent.
  • A Diploma in Administration or Property Management will be an added advantage.

13. Chief Regional Manager - Warehousing

Key responsibilities:

  • Implement the Board’s decisions regarding management of depots and silos;
  • Advise the General Manager Warehousing on all warehousing depot activities;
  • Coordinate all issuance of warehousing receipts all the Regions;
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all warehousing receipts in the system;
  • Coordinate the release of goods in all the Regions purchased at the commodity exchange;
  • Coordinate clearance and release of bank guaranteed goods;
  • Coordinate receipt of goods ,storage and related activities in the Boards warehouses;
  • Develop and review budgetary proposals for depot operations;
  • Manage inventory control for all commodities and bring to the attention of the Internal Auditor;
  • Report any cases of stock variances to the General Manager for further investigation;
  • Ensure that the available space for storage is brought to the attention of the General Manager Warehousing;
  • Ensure that all necessary actions are taken to ensure safety and quality maintenance of stocks in the Board Is of the highest standard; and
  • Responsible for the planning and coordination of the crop purchase programme and ensure that timely arrangements and provision of essential supplies and equipment such as gunny bags and dunnages to the depot are in place.

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Business or related field and a Diploma in Stores or warehousing Management/Business Administration.

14. Legal Services Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all legal aspects of the Board’s Business;
  • Vet and draw up of legal instruments such as contracts, leases and agreements between the Board and third parties;
  • Act as custodian of all the relevant legal documents, registers, Board’s assets register and the Board’s Seal
  • Coordinate Board’s conveyance work;
  • Give legal opinion to Management Board and advise other departments on legal matters; and
  • In consultation with the Board Secretary, participates in the settlement of disputes through alternative methods dispute settlement e.g. arbitration.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Law and a Certified Public Secretary, CPS (K).
  • In addition, the successful applicant shall be an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya.
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum period of six (6) years at senior level in a Legal function, three (3) of which must be in the post of an Assistant Company/Board Secretary or equivalent position.

iii. Chief Officer Positions

All Chief Officer Positions will report to the respective department Managers and will be responsible for providing technical support in implementing the business unit objectives.

For all Chief Officer Positions, possession the ideal candidates must have at least four (4) years relevant experience and must be members of relevant professional bodies.

In addition, they should also possess well-developed IT skills, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have good analytical and report writing skills.

Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in the relevant field will be an added advantage.

Specific roles, qualifications and skills for each position are outlined below.

1. Chief Procurement Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the procurement of all goods and services and provide liaise with vendors and contractors;
  • Prepare and update the procurement work plan for the department;
  • Plan and conduct procurement training for staff on the use of standard bidding documents, RFPs and procurement guidelines; and
  • Prepare bid proposals and specifications and make recommendations on purchases requiring management or Tender Committee’s approval.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Business Studies, or related field.
  • In addition, the successful applicant should have procurement experience in the Public Sector and Knowledge of the Public Procurement and Disposal Act 2005 procurement procedures.

2. Chief Accountant - Management & Budgets

  • Responsible for preparing monthly cash flow reports, budgets and financial statements, bank reconciliations;
  • Record all financial transactions and manage all financial record-keeping;
  • Collect information from budget holders on matters pertaining to preparation and administration of budgets;
  • Analyze information and reports produced by management accounting systems and make appropriate recommendations; and
  • Liaise with other departments on formulation of systems and procedures that are pertinent to proper financial management control.

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

3. Chief Accountant - Corporate & Regional Accounts

  • Prepare monthly cash flow reports, budgets and financial statements, bank reconciliations;
  • Conduct a pre-audit of the company’s internal accounts;
  • Provide guidance to staff on Finance/Accounting activities and prepare departmental reports;
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations and procedures; and
  • Participate in ascertaining proper and optimal control systems and monitoring accurate recording of all financial transactions.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • In addition the successful applicant must be a CPA (K) or possess ACCA.

4. Chief Security Officer

  • Prepare, develop, maintain and update the security and contingency plans;
  • Establish and maintain contact with National Security Agencies in the region/s;
  • Coordinate and supervise the firms offering security services;
  • Conduct office security surveys and make recommendations of physical security measures to the Administration Manager; and
  • Ensure safety precautionary measures are enforced.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Applicants must have a degree or equivalent qualifications in the related field as well as experience in security related tasks in military or police/law enforcement agencies.

5. Chief Human Resources Officer - HR Planning & Employment

  • Carry out job evaluation and update job descriptions on a periodic basis;
  • Responsible for recruitment, selection, placement and induction of new staff members;
  • Review, update and implement HR policies in line with the HR strategy and the NCPB’s vision, mission and values;

  • Responsible for transfers and second ments;
  • Maintain an up-to-date staff establishment; and

6. Chief Human Resources Officer — HR Development

7. Chief Human Resources Officer - HR Administration

  • Communicate all HR matters through meetings, intranet, notice boards, newsletters, and bulletins;
  • Manage the union and handle industrial disputes, grievances and disciplinary matters;
  • Prepare contracts of employment and other documents relating to the terms and maintenance of other conditions of service; and
  • Manage the HR Information System (HRIS).

8. Chief Marketing Officer — Maize

11. Chief Property and Services Marketing Officer

  • Prepare marketing strategies and plans for services and properties;
  • Coordinate leasing of property and preparation of lease agreements;
  • Conduct survey on property rates and services and ensure that the Board gets maximum returns;
  • Oversee the clearing and forwarding function of the Board;
  • Support to Regional & Depot Officers in facility and property related services;
  • Ensure that the properties are well maintained by the renters;
  • Compile weekly, monthly and quarterly reports on property management;
  • Advise the Managers on proposed maintenance/repairs of the properties;
  • Ensure that clearing documents from suppliers, clearing agents are completed accurately and in a timely manner; and
  • Inventory Liaise with finance department to ensure all bank documents are sent to the clearing agent in a timely manner.

12. Chief External Trade Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Authenticate trade import /export documents and audit trade practices and report on non-compliance;
  • Carry out verification of importation contracts;
  • Prepare and secure necessary importation licences including tax waivers where applicable;
  • Coordinate and follow up issuance of marine covers for imported goods and services;
  • Coordinate, vet ,and process letters of credit applications;
  • Verify nomination of marine vessels/ships;
  • Liaise with Boards suppliers to monitor shipment of goods and services;
  • Liaise with relevant government and local ships agents;
  • Ensure conformity and meet the internal and external set standards;
  • Ensure that all relevant departments & staff are updated as necessary on all service providers;
  • Liaise with other government organisations on matters of mutual interest e.g. KRA, KEBS, KPA, and KEPHIS; and

13. Chief Quality and Pest Control Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Follow prescribed procedures to control pests and develop and enforce quality and compliance guidelines
  • Assist the Manager in assessing the product specifications of NCPB and its suppliers, and comparing them with customer requirements
  • Submit appropriate and periodic reports on pesticide usage to the Manager
  • Participate in the procurement of pesticides
  • Maintain the Quality Management System already in place and liaise with the management representative to ensure consistency

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Post-Harvest Grain Management, Agriculture, Entomology , Applied Science or related field.

14. Chief Logistics Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure goods & services are delivered as required and on time;
  • Coordinate all internal transfers of commodities;
  • Coordinate registration of all commodity transporters;
  • Carry out reconciliations of stocks for the major customers;
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of stocks and ensure that physical distribution systems are up to the required standards;
  • Provide logistics for deployable assets in arrears of operations;
  • Ensure that commodities entrusted to transporters reach their destination safely; and
  • Maintain proper & accurate tracking information on all orders and maintain a file for every order.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a degree in a Business related field.

15. Chief Internal Auditor

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare annual audit plans and programmes, perform risk assessments and ascertain the extent of compliance with the Board and statutory procedures;
  • Carry out internal audits and appraise the Manager on the adequacy and application of accounting, financial, procurement and other controls;
  • Carry out follow-up audits and report on progress made;
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of audit reports including recommendations to management and Board audit committee; and
  • Train all staff on risk management and compliance.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Commerce; Business or a related field.
  • In addition, the applicant must be a CPA (K).

16. Chief Administration Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the support services at NCPB e.g. record keeping, mail distribution, telephone operations, cleaning services, transport services, office and furniture allocations etc.;
  • Liaise with the Chief Security Officer in coordinating the security services;
  • Ensure that all administrative activities meet and integrate with organizational requirements for quality management;
  • Coordinate health and safety issues within the organization; and
  • Ensure that all legal and environmental stipulations are followed and implemented within the work place.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or a related field.

17. Chief ICT Officer

  • Implement ICT strategies and new technologies, networks administration and the provision of web management services;
  • Support in development of information and documentation management system;
  • Support in management of the Board’s ICT hardware and software packages; and

  • Applicants must have a Bachelors degree with an ICT bias or a related field and a professional qualifications in ICT (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, etc).

18. Chief Legal Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in vetting and drawing of contracts, leases, loans agreements and other legal documents;
  • Liaise with external lawyers on legal matters for or against the NCPB;
  • Maintain and file all court proceedings as per established systems;

  • Liaise with other departments on handling legal related company operations.

19. Chief Technical Officer

  • Review and update policies, systems and procedures for design and installations and the repair and maintenance of the Board’s machinery, equipment and facilities;
  • Support in design work and construction of NCPB stands during shows and exhibitions;

  • Maintain records of all facilities and equipment and manage the Maintenance Programme management system.

20. Chief Warehousing Officer

Key responsibilities

  • Participate in warehouse administration, inventory control and the disposal of products and commodities;
  • Apply appropriate quality control measures to prevent loss and quality deterioration of products in the warehouses;
  • Maintain computerized records of all activities and submit the required reports to the warehousing manager as required; and
  • Maintain all the workplace health and safety requirements for warehousing.

21. Chief Research and Development/Commodity Exchange Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Research, evaluate and document new and existing commodities for future trading and make recommendations to improve trading base;
  • Conduct accurate analysis of trading information, both internal and external, for effective negotiations and decision-making;
  • Communicate relevant commodity exchange information to new and existing contracts; and
  • Stay abreast of the relevant issues affecting customers.

22. Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and implement an internal communications campaign as approved by the Corporate Affairs Manager;
  • Create awareness to the public on the role and functions of the Board and ensure coverage of events and functions;
  • Liaise with the media and prepare public relations initiatives e.g. Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and other community based programme;
  • Write press statements and speeches and monitor coverage by the media; and
  • Handle customer complaints and compliments and prepare PR reports.

Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Applicants must have Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, or Journalism.
