Purpose of Position
The manager shall report to management and provide leadership with regard to managing, strengthening and broadening the barber and beauty services & operations.
The manager will also be responsible and accountable for management decisions in a result-oriented and timely manner to enable achieve the company goals, objectives and set performance targets .
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement short and long-term innovative strategies that evolve business growth, brand development, sales and marketing and customer service delivery.
- Identify and pursue new business leads and monitor retention
- Conduct regular market intelligence/ research, market gaps and continuously develop new innovative products and services.
- Develop and co-ordinate stringent professional standards and standard operating procedures that ensure high standards of performance and accountability.
- Set “1st Class” quality control and operational bench marks/ standards that incorporate beauty and barbering safety and hygiene.
- Ensure that all business licensing and operational certifications are valid and compliant to Trade Labour Laws.
- Develop and foster a work culture that is highly reproductive, motivated and able to offer service delivery that is in accordance with the spirit, vision and mission of the company
- Formulate and implement the best HR policies and practice, training programmes and staff welfare initiatives that ensure a conducive work environment that retains, attracts and motivates employees.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
- Diploma in Sales & Marketing with knowledge in beauty
- Self‐motivated and competitive, results‐driven attitude
- Ability to work under pressure, Time management skills and ability to prioritize
- Persuasive and influential verbal communication skills
- Ready to start immediately
