Job Description

The clerks will be answerable to the Deputy Registration Officer.

Their responsibilities include;
• Register voters, issue new and retrieve old voters cards at the polling station within the stipulated period of mass registration
• Ensure accurate entry of voter details in the voters’ registration system
• Make corrections and the verification of voters’ details during the voter registration exercise
• Ensure safe custody of the voter registration kit during the registration exercise
• Carryout backup of the voters registration data on daily basis
Minimum Qualifications Requirements
• Be a Kenyan citizen of high integrity
• Have KCSE Grade of C- and above
• Computer literacy and certification is compulsory
• Applicants must be residents of the constituency applied for
OMR Scanning Operations

Applications are invited for the following posts:
1. OMR Scanner Operators
2. Document Management Clerks
3. Data Verification Clerks

Kisii)

Document Management Clerks

Job Description
• Receive and record the files containing OMR forms from the field
• Sort the OMR forms per Constituency, Registration centers and date of registration
• Feed the scanner with the ORM forms according to specified quantities
• Clear the scanned OMR forms from the Scanner output tray
• Arrange the scanned OMR forms and label them clearly per Constituency, Registration Centers and date of registration
• Arrange the layout and work flow of the physical scanning area
• Ensure that scanned OMR forms are securely stored
Minimum Qualifications
• Be a Kenyan citizen of high integrity
• Applicants must be residents of the region applied for
• Have KCSE Grade of C- and above
• Hold a Certificate in Document Management or Library Services from a recognized institution
• 2 years experience in document handling and filing
OMR Scanner Operators

Job Description
• Prepare forms for the scanning process
• Implement the process of scanning OMR forms
• Determine the correct settings to ensure quality of each document
• Analyze scanned documents for clarity and accuracy
• Perform document scanning and conversion tasks in accordance with the set quality standards and procedures
• Ensure proper documentation and integrity of scanned forms
• Ensure completeness of data, search for any missing documents
• Ensure safe storage and backup on a daily basis
Minimum Qualifications
• Be a Kenyan citizen of high integrity
• Applicants must be residents of the region applied for
• Have KCSE Grade of C and above
• Diploma holder in ICT/related field
• 3 years experience in machine operation or Machine maintenance

Data Verification Clerks

Job Description
• Checking for inaccurate records or data
• Checking for spelling errors and making necessary corrections
• Checking for invalid record or data
• Checking for incomplete records or data
• Checking for misplaced records
Minimum Qualifications
• Be a Kenyan citizen of high integrity
• Applicants must be residents of the region applied for
• Have KCSE Grade of C and above
• Diploma holder in ICT
• 3 years experience in data capture and management
