Corporate Dealer

The successful person will report to the Treasurer and will be based in Mombasa.

Job Summary

As a Corporate Dealer, the role holder will be responsible for supporting the Treasurer by ensuring efficient and effective delivery of the full range of treasury products, including foreign exchange, and advisory services to the bank’s existing clients and potential wholesale clients in Mombasa town and its environs.

Main Duties:

This challenging opportunity will include the following:-

  • To support the Treasurer by implementing the agreed treasury strategy and tactical plans
  • To continuously participate in developing theTreasury Marketing Unit covering all treasury products and customer segments
  • Proactively contribute to the development in the quality I efficiency of the treasury products and services delivery process to the bank’s wholesale clients
  • Enlarge customer base by acquisition of new business in forex trading
  • Maintain existing client relationship through effective client calls and visits
  • Build a network of relationships across all economic sectors

Job Specification

The incumbent will be required to possess the following attributes I skills

  • Bachelors Degree in business related field
  • 3 years banking experience. Exposure to direct FX/MM trading, treasury operations experience will be a prerequisite
  • Excellent knowledge of Kenya’s coast region businesses and trade
  • Some understanding o Corporate, Institutional and SME banking products and services
  • Good knowledge of Kenyan and global micro and macro economic and financial systems
  • Through knowledge of end to end process of treasury products and services
  • Strong marketing, negotiation and decision making skills
  • Persuasive, aggressive and energetic personality
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
