Area Sales Manager (Tanzania) Jobs

Our client is an International Petroleum Company specialising in the sale and distribution of Petroleum Products in the Great Lakes Region. In order for them to meet their ambitious restructuring programme, they wish to recruit an Area Sales Manager for their Tanzania market.

Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all sales activities in existing and new accounts in the region with an aim to develop, manage and maintain quality of product and service delivery.

Person Specifications

· A University degree in Marketing or its equivalent with a minimum of 4 years sales experience 2 of which must be in the petroleum industry.
· He /she must be self driven with a “can do” attitude and passion to achieve results under minimum supervision.
· Must possess great interpersonal and Public Relations Skills and demonstrate ability to aggressively acquire and retain viable customers.
· Must be Proficient in the use of spreadsheets and other report generating and presentation software
· Must demonstrate previous experience in managing customers operating on credit terms.
· Age guide : 25 – 35 years and must be in possession of a clean valid driving license
· Tanzanian Nationals are encouraged to apply.
